Depending on where you live and the baker that your council buys cookies from, you may be biting into a Caramel deLite or munching on a Samoa. And although they may look pretty much the same, even Thin Mints are cookie cousins rather than twins. That’s because both bakers have developed unique recipes (or formulas, as they say in the cookie manufacturing business) for the five customer favorite cookie varieties. Recently, I had the chance to eat cookies like the other half does. Since my council has commissioned cookies from Little Brownie for years, I had no idea how ABC Baker’s cookies tasted. There indeed were subtle taste differences, but I was pleased to discover how delicious the cookies were. From this unofficial taste test, I can confirm that no matter where you live in the United States, your cookie is a winner!
